The Macallan 1926 — Fine & Rare
A single sherry-seasoned oak cask, number 263, was filled in 1926. The whisky was bottled after 60 years, in 1986. Forty bottle equivalents were produced from the cask across its celebrated label variations; that figure must not be mistaken for the Fine & Rare allocation alone.

Introduced in March 2022, The Reach is an 81-year-old single malt distilled in 1940 and drawn from a single sherry-seasoned oak cask. Its presentation includes a three-hand bronze sculpture and a hand-blown decanter.

Yamazaki 55 brings together aged components distilled in 1960 and 1964, incorporating mizunara-matured and white-oak-matured spirit. The figure 55 describes the stated age of the expression, not a single common distillation vintage.

The final 2025 chapter contains 50-year-old Irish pot-still whiskey distilled at Old Midleton, which closed in 1975. Its final marrying cask was assembled using staves from casks associated with five earlier chapters. This is not a release from the modern New Midleton distillery.

A 150-decanter 50-year-old edition accompanied the distillery's new luxury chapter. The first numbered decanter was sold with bespoke artwork at a September 2022 Sotheby's sale; this recorded auction result is historical, not a current valuation.

Launched in May 2026, the Romantica Collection features a 1986 vintage from sherry-seasoned European oak cask 9925. Collaborations with three artists reference the historic 1926 bottlings. The 1986 vintage is not the 1926 vintage.

The inaugural Rare Wood Collection release used finishing casks made from Irish sweet chestnut. Irish Distillers announced an 8 October 2026 global release, described as 800 case equivalents, not a fixed bottle count.
