Collect questions, not trophies
A useful whisky passport might record a museum visit, a historical document, a landscape, a technical insight or a sensory association. Nothing requires buying a bottle or drinking to make an entry worthwhile.
Keep entries small and useful
Start with a date, title, location or source, what you observed and what you want to understand next. Identify external claims and separate them from your private memories. The archive becomes richer when it records revised understanding.
Privacy is part of the design
A notebook or offline file remains a valid passport. Should a digital account be introduced later, the user must be able to understand sharing, portability and deletion options. Today's WHISKAVIA site has no personal online Passport account.
The journey is open-ended
Return periodically to your notes and ask what changed. A new source can revise a once-confident interpretation; a second museum visit can reveal a detail missed the first time. The point is an expanding map of curiosity.
