Time Machine.
A distillery’s founding, construction, first distillation and first release can be very different events. History becomes richer when we preserve those distinctions.

Where this world leads
The story of whisky is not a single line of famous anniversaries. Licences, changing tax systems, production technology, transport links and ownership changes shaped distilling across different periods and countries.
The Time Machine connects these developments to identified people, companies, production sites and historical sources. A distillery name can survive closures, mergers and the relocation of equipment. The brand’s timeline and the physical site’s timeline may differ.
Workers, coopers, warehouse teams and communities belong alongside founders and owners. A living timeline treats a documented milestone as a sourced event and makes conflicting or incomplete records visible.
