A tasting note may recall a familiar kitchen, a distant harbour or a visit to an old warehouse. Such associations belong to the person experiencing them. They should not be confused with verified statements about a whisky’s ingredients or production.
The Memory Finder is designed as an approach to discovery: begin with context, identify a few honest sensations, and turn them into questions about craft, history or place. Cultural differences in sensory vocabulary are a source of richness, not errors to be corrected.
The current edition offers these editorial methods without collecting personal memories or requiring an account. A future interactive experience will make its storage and privacy choices transparent.
